Excellent expose on the Luss house, which is completely new to me. Lots of great touches, but I find it odd that the Luss family lived there for such a short period of time. Looking forward to your next house!

really glad you enjoyed it! i find that odd too, can’t imagine building such a beautiful house to only live in it for 3 years. but it was because his wife didn’t know anyone in the area and got very lonely so they relocated to long island to be closer to her family

Love this. the film pics make it all the better. is the furniture original or did they replace a lot?

i don't think any of it is original since luss only lived there for 3 years and the current owners bought it around 2000ish. i don't know the history of the house in between those years. but the long navy couch in the living room is a luss design

That makes sense. The current furnishings are great, but I'm so curious to know what Luss had in there. Makes me think how he'd furnish it now if he had the chance, too

What a downfall for my brain! You've just brought me into a whole new world, a world I never want to leave. And the quality of the photos with the lights is magnificent!!!
