i’m the girl at the house tour taking photos like her life depends on it. why? i’m not really sure. or maybe there isn’t just one specific reason. documenting a piece of architectural history? sure. gathering inspiration for my own house? yes. capturing a moment of beauty i’d never be able to put into words because i’m a horrible writer? probably not something i should admit while trying to get you to subscribe to my blog, but i’m not going to lie to you. and let’s be real, you’re probably only here for the photos anyway.

so, with 29,422 photos on my phone, hundreds of film photos, and an evergrowing collection of locations saved on google maps, i figured maybe i should share more than just the occasional instagram carousel. i’d also love this to be a place for fellow architecture lovers to connect. the one thing i’ve learned on my many tours over the years is that most of the people on them are retired older couples. who are always lovely tour mates, but not great for my attempts at making friends (or finding the love of my life) who also enjoys looking at buildings as much as i do.
ok anyways, next post will my first house feature. i hope to see you there <3
If you haven’t yet, make sure to add the Eileen gray house to your international travel destinations
You are a very engaging writer Zoë, don't discount yourself. Your eye and analytic powers of observation are exquisite.
